Administrative and Care Management Associate

Looking for a highly motivated candidate who is seriously considering pursuing a career with older adults, and interested in becoming involved with a busy private Geriatric Care Management practice in the Chicago area. This position has great potential for both administrative and clinical growth in an exciting field of service in Aging.
Educational Qualifications: Minimum of B.A. degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field, M.S.W. or M.A. in related field, with classwork in Aging preferred
Experience Required: One or more years of experience with older adults, and administrative and organizational responsibilities. Clinical work strongly preferred.
Skills and Work Habits Required: Organized Efficient Punctual Pleasant manner Trustworthy and reliable (with confidential clinical matters) Excellent Interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Enjoys working with Older adults. Able to make home visits to clients This job is part-time, 10-12 hours/week, spread over 2-3 days/week, and based in a home office. The job has the potential to grow over time and the candidate needs to have some flexibility in terms of days and times available. This is NOT a summer position.
The Job includes the following responsibilities: Develop and maintain office organization system. Follow-up with home visits and work generated. Assistance in geriatric care management.
